A big announcement out of E3 2015 was that Xbox 360 backward compatibility was coming to Xbox One.  That service is finally ready to launch, and starting November 15, 2015, you can play any X360 games on this list - both physical and digital copies - below that you currently own.  There are currently 145 compatible games with more coming in the weeks and months ahead.  This list will be updated with new games as they are added.

Check out this article to learn how BC works on Xbox One.

The list isn't super impressive yet, but there are some real gems on there that you should play if you missed them the first time around.  We'll mark games we recommend in bold and link to their reviews (if we have one).  Newly added titles are at the top.

Bottom Line

It isn't terribly impressive yet, but it is a good start.  Backward compatibility is a lot easier to implement on Xbox One than it was on Xbox 360, so expect more games to come quickly as more publishers sign on.
