Script Error Definition

Definition: A script error is an error that occurs when the instructions from a script can not be executed correctly for some reason.

Most computer users will encounter script errors most often in the browser when it can not execute JavaScript or VBScript (or other scripting language) instructions from a web page.

Examples: "One site I visit frequently in Internet Explorer would always display a script error, but it was working perfectly fine! I finally disabled script debugging so I would stop being alerted about an obviously not very serious problem."
