This tutorial is only intended for users running the Microsoft Edge browser in Windows 10.

The heart of Windows 10, for many users, lies in its Start Menu. Featuring your favorite apps, feeds and other commonly used items, it serves as the virtual hub of the operating system. With the help of Microsoft's Edge browser, you can even add shortcuts to the websites that you frequent the most to the Start Menu.

This tutorial walks you through the process.

  1. Open your Edge browser and navigate to the desired Web page. Click on the More actions menu, represented by three horizontally placed dots and circled in the example above. When the drop-down menu appears, select the option labeled Pin to Start. Next click on the Windows Start button, located in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. The Start Menu should now be visible, with your new shortcut and icon prominently displayed. In the example above, I have added About's Computing & Technology home page.

Once you get that page pinned to your Start Menu, you'll want to know how to keep your Windows 10 Start Menu organized.
