Some time ago there was done nice work to have in local folder all documents which are in google-docs
(http://doctormo.org/2010/07/20/google-doc-mount/).It works easily for *ubuntu distros but what about opensuse?
I try to describe how to mount google docs locally and easily edit or update or whatever
For proper working we need following sources installed (python sources):
gtkme:
https://launchpad.net/~doctormo/+archive/ppa/+files/gtkme_0.7.1.orig.tar.gz
python-gdata:
https://launchpad.net/~doctormo/+archive/ppa/+files/python-gdata_2.0.7.orig.tar.gz
google-docs-fs:
https://launchpad.net/~doctormo/+archive/ppa/+files/google-docs-fs_0.2~lucid1.tar.gz
python-distutils-extra:
http://launchpad.net/python-distutils-extra/trunk/2.20/+download/python-distutils-extra-2.20.tar.gz
gdocs-mount-gtk:
https://launchpad.net/~doctormo/+archive/ppa/+files/gdocs-mount-gtk_1.2.orig.tar.gz
For every package just go to downloaded directory and run:
./setup.py build; sudo ./setup.py install
This will install all packages necessary to run gdocs-mount. I don’t check if gdocs-mount-gtk correctly add desktop icon or whatever. For test just run: ./gdocs-mount-gtk.py setup login and password and enjoy
